Paint Shop Pro from Alchemy Mindworks is a highly regarded shareware program. Image editing software is so personal that I do not recommend any one program. Neither program creates permanent thumbnail files on your drive (which I hate) and they are fast and allow you to manipulate large amounts of images (hundreds.) While they allow image editing I would not recommend them for that. When importing files, it allows you to keep the file name or change the name to date+sequence. It allows you great flexibility in organizing your images, and prints out very nice index sheets. It will import files, which is how the S70 (or maybe I should say the Memory Stick) presents itself to the PC or TWAIN. I use Epson Film Factory for gathering and organizing images. ![]()
